This invitation and event material set was designed for a proposed exhibition titled “Dilettante” for the found works of nanny / photographer Vivian Maier.
solution
Maier’s images tell a story of a private and secretive woman who had an almost obsessive need to photograph society and life around her. This body of work and the way in which it was discovered calls into question the definition of what it means to be an artist. To highlight this idea, her identity is obscured throughout the design of each piece within the set.
